"Thank you for your involvement in RACMEM and the warm welcome, it was truly a very good experience.
Seeing your room-calorimeters was also a pleasure, they have very nice details of construction. I would have wanted to stay and run some tests instantly!

At the moment I am thinking about the commercial- and scientific interests involved in calorimetry these days.
Some patents have been claimed in the US that involve general good practice in calorimetry or even previously published work.
It would be most beneficial if we could find a way to have both commercial and scientific interest fulfilled, while maintaining open discussions about developments without hindrance.
Hopefully we can indeed work together, and I feel a small start was made in Tokyo some weeks ago."
